Germaine is an author and elite coach in The Conversation Coaches program.
Germaine is an elite coach whose background in law enforcement and special ops has given him a no nonsense warrior approach that CEOs are drawn to. Through the coaching program we aim to refine his message.
Tammy Kling asked Germaine;
What’s your 30 second elevator pitch?
And offered this advice:
“Tell the story of who you will be, not who you have been. Don’t tell the story of your resume. That’s the past.
Tell the story of who you are as a leadership coach. And do it well in 30 seconds.”
Germaine initially introduced himself to a group of executives as a former law enforcement officer who coaches youth in wrestling, and track.
“I asked him to refine it focusing on leadership, Kling says. “It’s about your anointing, and not your past. Your gifts are transferable to any industry.”
The Conversation coaches program works two ways. First to equip 1 percenters, and second to lead people in need, to engage them.
“I’ve seen too many high level leaders suffer in silence ,” Kling said. “That’s my tendency too as a high D – on the DISC scale. We drove things until we can’t. When we can’t, we can’t reach out for help because we are the driver.”
The pitch we coached Germaine to create is;
“I’m a leadership coach, and I help equip CEOs and executives to navigate life and business.”
The Conversation coaches introduced Germaine to Dave, a dental industry entrepreneur who developed an innovative mobile dentistry model. They first met at The Conversation for Men, in Dallas. We introduced Dave to Germaine to help Dave talk through some important life questions. Later, Dave invited us to meet at a lunch with Jerry Jones, at the Dallas Cowboys Star football complex in Dallas.
After six weeks of one on one coaching, (and riding bikes at Dave’s house after meeting his family!) Dave felt relief.
“I’ve been around the best leaders in the world,” Dave said. “But Germaine is the best I’ve ever talked to.”
This is an example of winning.
